I Am Having Very Painful Skin Flare Ups Which Look Like Eczema As Well As My Nodules. Does Anyone Else Have Experience Of This Please?
A MyPrurigoTeam Member asked a question 💭

Diagnosed with chronic nodular prurigo (CNPG) in March 2024. Combination of Tacrolimus and Pregabalin have helped control the worst of the night time itching and sleep deprivation. My biggest problem currently is excruciatingly painful flare ups in patches - look like eczema but do not itch. Very sensitive to heat and not responsive to corticosteroids or immunotherapy creams.

Tina-Ambassador-I am just so sorry. I am completely overwhelmed at this point. I have Raynauds too. LSC does not itch for me, if that is even what it is. I feel like they only rule out, which isn’t confirmation. The biopsy said LSC and PN. I know burning hands must just put you nearly over the edge. I guess we just have to keep hope, but tonight I just want it to leave me alone. 🥹🤪🥹

LSC can cause that. Lichen Simplex Chronicus. I have both PN and LSC as I have noticed many people on here do. It seems the sky’s the limit with these conditions.

@A MyPrurigoTeam Member I looked that up, it kind of describes mine, but it's always hot, and there's no itching! I know, says the person with an itching disease! 😹

You are so right, I haven't found an end to the things PN attaches to!
Thank you for that info Deb!
I went to Dermo 2 days ago about this arthritic feeling with hot-red on my hands. Dr brought 2 other people in with him, I think because he can't believe there is yet Another 'thing' for me... And yet, they don't know on it either. He took a biopsy just over the big joint of my pointer finger, tells me to keep a bandaid over it... After the fourth bandaid, felt like my skin was literally pulling off, and causing more blisters under, I stopped covering it. I just keep putting Vaseline on it like he said, to keep it moist.
