Hi. I have had cortisone injections to the nodules that work pretty good. I am going to a new Derm in a couple weeks so will keep you posted on her suggestions. Wishing all if you the best pain free days for the future.

The mental impact of PN is so intense. It took a long time to diagnosis this with every Dermo saying it was just acne and to “stop scratching and picking”. I was on Doxycycline but didn’t stop the nodules from firming. I was on 3 rounds (2 pills a day x 30 days). Given every steroid cream and a round of oral steroid. Finally I decided to go on Dupixient. It’s been a month so I do t know if it is helping. I had nodules on both knees and ankles too. Across the chest, but not on breasts. Now I think it’s definitely on my face. I am so glad I am wearing a mask for Covid and upper respiratory viruses so I can cover the PN on My chin and cheeks. Fortunately, I don’t have bad itching. That’s why I think PN wasn’t diagnosed earlier in the 3 years since I’ve had nodules. There is some pain, but not enough to take anything more than Advil.

I have had them on my breasts for years. Someti.es they look like bedsores. I feel my skin itch and
I will feel something like a a little bebe from a bebe gun. Within 25hrs it comes through the skin and itches like crazy. Iy opens more and more like a bedsore. I have had some that took several years to go away only to have another one.pop up.
