Members shared detailed routines for managing skin symptoms, with natural oil-based soaps, Dove, and CeraVe emerging as popular gentle cleansers, while tar shampoo, Head & Shoulders, and tea tree oil shampoo were frequently mentioned for preventing scalp nodules. Several members described mixing Vaseline with light lotions like Eucerin or CeraVe to maintain all-day moisture without irritation, with one member recommending freezing the mixture for soothing relief after showers paired with Benadryl and ibuprofen. A recurring theme was the delicate balance of finding products gentle enough to avoid drying or stinging while still effectively managing symptoms, with many members emphasizing the need to switch products when skin changes and to listen to what their bodies need day to day.

I use head and shoulders for hair and scalp .. classic clean which has been working for the itch and some nodules that developed on my scalp.
For body I use Aveeno oatmeal Fragrance free body wash
Dove bar … regular because the original seems to work too when I run out of my aveeno body wash.

For my face I use aveeno calming fragrance free wash and cream set. Haven’t used the creams for my face yet because I want this PN to be so under control that I don’t have to worry about a rash developing because I tried before and I felt the stinging 24/7 … so I stopped ..
So what do for moisture on my face and body after I wash and shower is Vaseline and Eucerin-Daily hydration light lotion
(I find the heavy ones to be too thick and sticky)
I mix equal amounts together to make a creamy mix … and I just slap it on my face and body and I find that it keeps you moisturized the whole day .. I say about 8-10 hours .. from morning till evening dinner time … then when I start feeling the itch that’s my Que to shower because the sweat and just the movement from day over will make my PN so irritated. So I say fuck it I’m showering… I do that after I eat dinner and clean up the apt for the night.
( I have OCD too so for me I have to clean kitchen and bathroom and sweep floor before I get ready for bed… helps me cope with the stress and anxiety before Covid I was like This … after omg it went up times 10 fold ) but I’m trying to take it as it is .. can’t change things I don’t have control
Over … PN … we have the control… that bitch needs to go👉🏽🤣😀
