Hi Sati, & welcome! I started on the Methotrexate about 5 weeks ago, & have noticed it somewhat helps. Never thought of an Immunologist, but after 8 Dermas & 1 Allergist, & now will be treated by my family doc! Hope you can find some much needed relief for your PN!

Methotrexate is one that terrified me. I did not take it, it’s used as chemotherapy and my neighbor was taking it for PN and lost all her hair. I did hear of 1 nurse who traced her PN onset to MSR , “hospital flu”. She did immunotherapy and has good results. I have been taking Dupexint for 2 months and I can not believe the relief I have from it. Lesions gone, and itch about 99% gone. 20 years of PN hell gone with the first injection.
