Does Anyone Think It Could Be A Side Effect Of COVID?
I have had COVID 3 times. The 2nd (2021) I lost my sense of smell and still haven’t got it back. About a year ago I started having severe inflammation and losing my balance and then I would fall. A rheumatologist did all kinds of test & the results didn’t show anything out of the ordinary. My left hand stays so inflamed that it feels like it hurts to the bone. NO I had mine way before Covid not for nothing but it seems like a good amount of people are trying to blame anything they can't explain on Covid.
I had Covid about 6 months ago but my skin problems began a few months earlier. I tried using some face creams and I thought they were what caused my sores. But then I stopped putting anything on my face and it still got worse. Then I got diagnosed with PN about 3 months ago. Also I’m unvaccinated.
I spent the week of Thanksgiving 2021 in the hospital with covid. I started itching while in the hospital, and within a week of my dismissal, my back and chest were covered with a very nasty rash. It eventually went away, but came back six months later. A biopsy diagnosed psoriasis/eczema that was triggered by an "auto-immune" cause - COVID!! The pruigro nodules began two months ago when the eczema flared again.
Pam, I have had this for about 15 years so it's not a side effect of covid. Did you get the covid shot?
Has Anyone Suffering From PN Asked There Dermatologist About Taking The Dupixent Shot Every Week. Instead Of Every Other Week?
