Mine is black specks. I am new to this and feel like I am going crazy cause they look like they could be a microscope bug, and feel like it. I have a lot of what looks like hairs or stringy skin.

For those in this conversation talking about the itching, are you on a biologic, like Dupixent or Nemluvio? If so, a single layer of internal protection may not be enough. In addition to Dupixent, I take NAC (1200 mg/day) and Allegra. Brought my itch from screaming at the ceiling to I can deal with this.
