Members connected over whether peripheral artery disease could cause prurigo nodularis, with one member clarifying that PAD causes non-healing sores due to poor blood flow but does not directly cause PN, though it may complicate healing of PN lesions. Several members shared where PN has affected them most painfully, including lower legs, feet, ankles, scalp, and whole body, with some describing recent surgeries, new lesions appearing in frustrating places like the arch of the foot or top of the toe, and the emotional toll of constant itching and pain leading to depression. A recurring theme was finding comfort in prayer, mutual support, and advocating for medical answers, with members offering encouragement, hugs, and reassurance that they are not alone in this difficult journey.
