Members connected deeply over the painful experience of hard, dark nodules that form beneath the skin and must be extracted to relieve intense pain, with many describing how doctors dismiss these as self-inflicted scratching despite members clearly feeling them emerge from below the surface. Several members shared practical strategies including saving samples to show doctors, using frankincense oil to draw out cores, washing affected areas daily to remove buildup before reapplying treatments, and seeking second opinions through resources like MediFind when feeling dismissed by their current providers. A recurring theme was the frustration of being labeled as pickers or dismissed as crazy when the condition is visible and real, balanced with concern about infection risks and scarring from extraction, and a shared longing for medical professionals who truly listen and help manage the pain rather than blame patients for their suffering.

They just think you are a picker or that you are crazy and dismiss you . It’s enough to drive you crazy !!!

When I have read about PN on the internet, they make it sound like we cause these things! This is not true. I pick at them after they appear because they hurt. I used to work In Dermatology and saw a case on Dr. Pimple Popper. They implied the patient caused them. It makes me mad. Why would anyone do something that would cause this kind of misery? 😡

This may sound gross but I have saved bottles of them...there are thousands and the Dr. didn't look at them she just said it's dried blood and skin. Well I find it hard to believe the ones that are hard and look like seed is dried blood. And if you don't get them out the pain is unbearable!
I'm about to lose my mind...I already had enough heath issues and now this!!! I pray we all get some relief and a cure is found soon!!! 🙏🩷🙏

Ohmigoodness
I thought this was just me
I get them all of the time when a new legion appears
They are tiny like apple seeds and I can literally feel them appear and they sting and itch
I have to get them out and then that’s another legion
I don’t understand why they keep appearing
