I have none of the other underlying issues with exception of stress and sweat that could have caused this to just pop up on my arms and face one day
I have had extensive surgery on my lower back for DDD. I have DDD in my neck as well. My PN was triggered by an insect bite.
@A MyPrurigoTeam Member I have always had a very bad reaction to mosquito bites from when I was child, I bet a bug bite is what causes this. Mine started right before the 4th of July, very bad flare up on my face and upper arms, nowhere else. I finally went to my dermatologist in mid August. He took a biopsy from both arms and here I am today in this chat.

I am seeing more primary doctor and requesting a full blood work up.
It is so strange for me, my arms fit the description of small hard nodules but my face is more like a dermatitis that is getting better everyday with hydrocortisone 2.5% ! There are no hard nodules on my face at all.
When I go back to dermatologist I am going to question him about that!
Strange condition!!
