Georgia, is Medicare covering the cost? That's what matters the most.

My quote from Medicare was $9,000. I checked because my doctor prescribed it and Medicare denied it, said dupixent first. That's $1,200. Grrr.

Hi James! I would suggest that if you have medical insurance, you investigate your insurance coverage first. The retail cost is immaterial at this point. If you find that your insurance does not cover it, once you review the determination, you and your physician could do an expedited appeal. The other option to investigate, is financial assistance through the manufacturer. If you are not on Medicare, there are coupons available to reduce the cost of the medication to you. If you have any questions, I will try my best to help you, or direct you since that was my former career as a medical social worker.

James, I have been on Nemluvio for 1 year, and I was able to receive the Patient Assistance Program with no cost on my end. I just renewed my prescription with my Dermatologist for the upcoming year. Due to Medicare with Nemluvio being a specialty drug I know I will have to pay $60.00 a month for each injection. I am on a fixed income, and not too happy as everything now days is so expensive.

The Nemluvio has helped me somewhat, and I want to continue to see if it helps any further. I am going on 17 years of dealing with this PN with Lichen Simplex Chronicus. Then to be diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis all on my scalp I was hoping to see more of an improvement on my scalp but having had 4 biopsies of the scalp that is where I have the most flaring due to scar tissue!
