I was never told that, but NO to Benadryl which can cause cognitive issues in the elderly, not that I am elderly, just a Fossil, LOL!! I do drink a cup of coffee in the morn, and at supper time, a large fountain Diet DP or Diet Pepsi, and try to drink water in between, my bad! I have noticed because of the caffeine being a stimulant that flares happen more (ya think) which probably should be avoided, but I am addicted. I guess my ol' bod thinks it needs the extra boost to be able to withstand this horrific rare disease, hmmm! So if I cause my scalp to flare real bad, I take my antianxiety pill which I know makes no sense whatsoever, Old girls just wanna have fun, & live on the edge cuz w/this crap the almost 15 years has not been my idea of fun, LOL! 🤪

Honestly I wouldn't know about Alcohol but As For Coffee I Drink It All Day Long.. I Also Drink Around 60oz of water a day honestly the more water I drink the better my skin looks. Happy 😁😊
