Members opened up about the painful and isolating reality of prurigo nodularis, sharing that lesions often appear randomly on the body though some noticed patterns along veins or mirrored placements on both sides. Several members found hope in Dupixent injections, which reduced itching and helped heal long-standing sores, while others mentioned practical relief from Epsom salt baths, spray tanning to cover scars, and wearing protective clothing to hide affected areas. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of living with constant itching, sleep deprivation, visible scarring, and frustration with doctors who dismiss the condition or offer unhelpful advice like behavioral therapy rather than real treatment.

Michelle,Not having sought out help, I am going to make an appointment Monday, and at least try my skin DOCS suggestions.Dupixant might work. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. 🤞

Ugh, I'm so sorry, and my lesions are on my back. Since Dupixent injections my sores are going away and less itching. It's been 3 years. First started out as shingles. Worst case ever and pain was debilitating. It definitely effected my nerves and feels like electricity running through the area. I was, finally diagnosed with prurigo nodularis after biopsy. Dupixent was approved for this horrible disease. I hope you find this info helpful and get some relief.

My sores, wounds, lesions are random on my body and not on a nerve path, meridian, or acupressure point. Except; I’m a Gemini and if I have one here odds are I will have one on the other side roughly same place there. Crazy, hate it. Wears me out but I’m getting off subject.

Try Epson salt in bath. I have it on my legs and arms. My arms now look like sun spots. But once I get a break out. It's done. I spray tan. And works wonders.
