I’m so sorry to see the photo of your poor back. You have every right to be miserable, and you are brave to share your photo. Thank you.
It won’t help you - but, it might make you feel less isolated - if I tell you that m, in my current flare up, I have an outbreak across my back like you. It’s also on my face and the tops of my arms. I keep saying it - but NP is a terrible affliction which is not helped by the fact that the dermatologists have virtually no understanding of it.
I’m going to ask you a personal question, which I understand if you don’t want to answer. Are you a ‘digger’ like me. I dig out the ‘keratin’ as it hurts if left in the spots? If you don’t that’s really interesting because it means that - even if you don’t dig, these spots split open anyway and leave the same scars as if you do ‘dig.’
Out of interest, have you had - or, do you have - any other skin things like eczema, Dupuytren’s, lichen planus etc.
You are amazing to be dealing with your problem, and although it won’t solve anything for you, I want you to know you are not alone. Sending you a huge hug.

I’ve tried clobetesol. I’ve found that the best remedy is a colloidal patch.

I have had 4 spots on my face. They all seem to reappear at some point. Not sure what to do about them. It just has to run it's course and then another one of them will flare up. I agree P.N. sucks.

Hi Susan! From time to time, I have PN on my face. My dermatologist informed me that I can use Clobetesol 0.05% on the nodules as long as I don't apply it near my eyes. Maybe it's a possibility for you???
