I have not experienced anything along those lines. Mine is primarily located on my scalp.
Umm,.....I never had that happen...I would ask your doctor.
Sherry, isn't it interesting that same specialities have different approaches. The cysteine has helped me tremendously. Recently, at a new surgical consult I had to review all of my medications. I was relieved that I wasn't questioned about it. I was told that a week before surgery to hold all supplements. I need to clarify the cysteine; I don't wish to return to Itchland.
Interesting Cathy, a dr. At UT southwestern recommended cysteine also. The new 1 has not. I take doxipine at night.
it, Sherry. I feel bad. Is there anything you have on board to treat the itching sensation? Nothing worse than a dermatologist recommending to stop scratching with any solution to how to stop the scratching! Ugh; argh!! My dermatologist recommended trying the N-Acetyl-Cysteine supplement to calm the itching. ( 600 mg twice a day). I did think they were blowing smoke at me but I ordered it and gave it a try. It helped me; now it's part of my strategies to deal with this god-forsaken disease! What have you tried? Do you think it may be a good idea for you? I hate the itchy scalp stuff! 🤗
