I also, after much agonizing and money spent and helpful advice from friends and relatives, stopped listening and started thinking for myself.
I will not use anything on my skin that might cause a reaction. Once there is a reaction it lasts at least a week of suffering.
I wish for a solution but since it is not terminal it is not a top priority.
I have similar thoughts.
Michele! That sounds awful! I'm so sorry to read that! I have developed my skincare routine many years ago. When I was diagnosed with PN, I reviewed my skin care regime with the dermatologist with them informing me that it was fine.I stick with the same plan and don't add anything without the dermatologist's input. It's worked for me this far. All the best to you.
I tried Gotucream about 6 months ago, and after using it for a week, had a terrible reaction -- my arms got red and starting itching horribly. I washed both arms and went back to my script steroid ointment.
Never heard but might look into this!
