Members openly discussed the emotional toll of living with visible prurigo nodularis scars, sharing how the condition has kept them homebound, anxious about social situations, and self-conscious about wearing shorts or tank tops in public. Several members celebrated success with Nemluvio injections, describing how the treatment cleared their skin after years of struggle, stopped unbearable itching, and restored their ability to sleep and live normally again, with many expressing deep gratitude and faith. A recurring theme was encouragement to cover up with lightweight clothing when needed, avoid letting fear steal joy from vacations or daily life, and remember that most people are far less judgmental than we fear.

Yes, to answer your question.does it clear up your skin. It takes a little while. My left leg especially, but both legs and both arms looked like I had been in a war zone. On Nemluvio they cleared up quite rapidly, all but a couple of really tenacious spots. Now a year later my skin is completely clear and probably would have been sooner, but I am, unfortunately, a picker. Thank you God.

Hi Everyone! For those of you who have remaining nodules, have you tried using topical prescription medications to heal them? I'm thinking that applying Clobetesol 0.05% until they heal and disappear. It also will be beneficial in treating the itching. I'm thinking that not scratching or digging (if possible) could prevent scarring.

Hi Irma! By any chance, have you been evaluated by a dermatologist? A dermatologist is important to have when managing PN. While I can understand your anxiety, I think that it would be unfortunate for you to deny yourself the opportunity to spend time with your husband while enjoying a relaxing vacation.
