I work in a factory where it gets extremely hot . I have just been using fabric bandaids because they stick and stay on better after sweating all day. I have to keep them covered due to oozing. Any suggestions. Thanks

Working in a hot factory with oozing nodules sounds really challenging β€” you're doing the right thing by keeping them covered to protect the skin and avoid further irritation or infection.

Fabric bandages are a solid choice for staying put through sweat, so you're already on the right track! Here are some additional options worth exploring:

- Medicated tape or dressings β€” Some dressings are coated with corticosteroid ointment, which can help treat the nodule while keeping it covered
- Breathable wound dressings β€” Look for ones designed for active or sweaty conditions, as they're made to stay on longer
- Moisture-wicking fabrics β€” Wearing long sleeves in a breathable fabric over bandaged areas can add a protective layer without trapping too much heat A few important cautions to keep in mind:

- Heat and sweating are known PN triggers, so try to stay as cool as possible during your shift to avoid worsening the itch-scratch cycle
- Oozing nodules can become infected, especially in a hot, sweaty environment β€” watch for redness, warmth, or yellow/white fluid, and flag this with your doctor
- It's worth asking your dermatologist specifically about medicated dressings, as they may be able to prescribe something that both covers and treats at the same time
