My brother is severely losing hope in this issue of his back nodules that do not seem to get any better. It's been about three weeks since his Nemluvio shot no itch relief. We have tried all of the things everyone has given me advice over and I'm still stuck. Please someone help me because my brother is suffering and crying every evening. Is there no end of this nightmare?

Yes, sadly Aylin, noone has an answer because they don't know. Did your brother get worse after the nemluvio shot? I had one two days ago itch worse than I have in months

Hi Aylin! Did any of the dermatologists perform a punch biopsy in order to diagnose that he has PN? I'm wondering if there is another skin condition involved that could affect his current treatment. My skin tends to be very dry and I have found that it is important to moisturize my skin every day. I use dermatologist recommended or formulated products. I also use a gentle shower soap. Keeping the skin moist also helps with healing of the nodules. I also wonder if Aveeno products would help him. They have oatmeal as an ingredient and that is supposed to help with itching. Another option is to schedule an appointment with an allergist or immunologist.

Hi Aylin! If your brother is not experiencing relief, perhaps it is time to either regroup the treatment plan with hi current dermatologist. Another option is to make an appointment with another dermatologist for a second opinion.

Jan, I know how you feel. I live alone , all I have mostly is my granddaughter who I see about twice a month. I sit here mostly alone and that’s bad enough then dealing with this PN. I go out only when I have to and that’s rarely. We just have to hang in there and deal with it the best we can. Hope you can find some relief.
