Blood tests can help determine if another condition or infection is contributing to PN by looking at levels of immune cells and overall organ health.

The answer to that is to make an appointment with your primary care physician or a rheumatologist. When I first met my rheumatologist, she described herself as a detective and I agree with that assessment. The rheumatologist has the most accurate information about the immune system and autoimmune conditions. An immunologist also can provide that insight as well. Good luck.
