Members rallied around the idea of identifying shared factors among those with peripheral neuropathy rather than only treating symptoms, with many expressing frustration over limited testing and the need for comprehensive research and surveys to uncover root causes. Several members shared their experiences with overlapping conditions, particularly gastrointestinal issues like celiac disease, gastroparesis, and IBS, noting the complex balancing act of managing symptoms while navigating concerning medication side effects like those from Reglan. A recurring theme was the call for collective advocacy, including contacting the FDA to push for more research, with members offering practical resources and emphasizing the importance of being their own advocates in the face of insufficient medical guidance.

Fasting has made night and day difference! Real fasting though. Coupled with prayer.

I agree so much! I was just reading about celiac disease, all the same symptoms as pn! But I am to take all these medications? My doctor hasn't recommended any other tests. We need a survey! I am calling my family doctor tomorrow because I am getting so much worse, joints, fatigue. My family doctor already suggested a psychiatrist for meds to calm nerves. Who is doing research?

Thanks Cathy! We should all make contact and see what more we can find out as far as research and commonalities surveys in the works or otherwise. We need to be sounding boards for ourselves. We deserve answers!
