Just a weird update. When I first started Duplixent I wanted to do home injections. I went to pick the meds up at the pharmacy and it was $2000. I declined and called my doctor to ask for lower cost alternative. He got scheduled me into in-hospital visits (Kaiser Permanente HMO) to get the shots and then they were covered by insurance. Go figure!

I saw 3-4 dermatologists that only looked at one arm, finally the fourth checked whole body. Froze left half of body, injected steroids into lesions on right side, as soon as stinging from freezing stopped I was PAIN FREE, two month later all lesion mostly gone, few injected again, now probably 6 months later pain/ itch free.

I use HydrOXZine 2 tabs 25 mg each in evenings helps a lot with itch and sleep!!

My insurance (Medicare through Kaiser Permanente) pays for bi-weekly shots as long as I go into the hospital to get the shots. Not even a co-pay. So thankful!
