This was about 9 years ago. It was on the outside of my ears. The dermatologist at the time wanted to determine if I had skin cancer. A deeper biopsy couldn't be performed because of its location. My skin is very dry because of my autoimmune condition. It ended up that the recommended treatment worked and the diagnosis was severely dry skin.❤️
I had a raw area on the outside of both ears. I went to a dermatologist (not my current physician) and they performed a skin scraping.
