I know I am new to this disease, but it is clear the medical community still has a poor understanding of the relationship between nodules and scratching.
I am developing nodes on the bottom of my feet.
I do not scratch there.
The nodes cause the itching; the itching does not cause the nodes.
It may cause them to spread some, but it does not drive their appearance.
And it sure as heck does not drive flares.
Enough with the victim blaming.
