Im saying that the underlying inflammation is similar. There are other medications that help decrease inflammation.

I'm aware that COVID has caused some complications for people. I too have had skin issues for years.

My first outbreak was 35 years ago, so it had nothing to do with covid.

How do you listen to a podcast, and is there a connection between COVID-19 and prurigo nodularis?

Listening to Podcasts:

While podcast instructions aren't my specialty, here are the basics to get you started:

1. On a smartphone or tablet: Download a free podcast app like Apple Podcasts (iPhone) or Google Podcasts (Android)
2. On a computer: Visit podcast websites directly through your web browser
3. Search for topics: Type in "prurigo nodularis" or other health topics you're interested in
4. Press play: Most podcast apps have a simple play button, just like a radio

You can also ask a family member, friend, or your local library for hands-on help getting started.

COVID-19 and PN:

It's interesting that you noticed your first PN outbreak coincided with your COVID diagnosis. While the search results don't specifically mention COVID-19 as a trigger, certain infections have been associated with PN development.

PN can develop alongside various health conditions and infections. The immune system's response to infections may contribute to inflammation that's linked to PN.

If you're tracking your symptoms, noting when your PN started in relation to COVID could be valuable information to share with your dermatologist. Keeping a journal of symptom patterns can help identify potential triggers and guide treatment decisions.
