Them off, they bleed like crazy. Anyone else have these scabs from nowhere?

Kathie, the scabs and the healing takes a long time but they need to be left alone. To pick at them could lead to scarring and potential infection.

I feel like the scabs never go away on their own. Does anyone else have this?

I'm new to this condition. I developed it in April related to kidney failure. Mine presented first as severe itching and nodules on my butt. When it moved up to my back it appeared as the scabs you're talking about. I was pretty out of it from meds and the scabs freaked me out so much that I picked them all off. Of course now I have scar tissue from them and it itches. I don't have bleeding from them though. It's definitely a weird experience to have scabs appear out of nowhere.

Aquaphor healing ointment from eucerin has been most helpful for dry, itchy skin or scabs. Apply as needed. Be generous not skimpy 😉

Joanne, yes it does! Daily moisturization also helps as well as sticking to a routine for skin management and hair care.
