It's so unacceptable, unattractive
I had a big bunch of itching, hurting nodules on my hip. I know it's a no no but I opened them, lots of fluid.Did that hurt but what else is new? I put alcohol on them, it seemed to take them away. Doctor did a biopsy, nothing really showed.
I have had PN for about 18 years at first nobody knew what it was and finally my doctor sent me to a dermatologist they did a biopsy and the biopsy came back as PN now my dermatologist has prescribed the highest dosage cream of steroid and it works somewhat it does dry them up and if I don't pick them and sometimes I do because they itch they bleed but I think the cream is helping as long as I don't pick at them what new ones do come I wish they would find a cure for this it has changed my whole life
I am appalled that you are not receiving care for your wounds. I truly have no words. As a nurse of many years I am at a loss to understand when open wounds began being ignored. Do they say why they dismiss you? I already asked this but have they given you antibiotics. I am one of those JIC people who would like to see a picture, lol. I am so angry for you!
Have they given you antibiotics, topical or oral? That they are black is concerning.
