Yes, I have had it come on suddenly, it sounds like you had a histimine spike which is typical with PN - it does come on suddenly. After many years, I am learning to take an antihistimine and/or soak in the tub with baking soda (1 cup) and epson salts (2 cups) in warm but not too hot water and soak for 15-30 minutes. This seems to help sooth that down and then apply your usual skin stuff.
Wow, Georgia! I'm wondering if this episode could be allergic in nature? Are you aware of anything new in your routine lately? I'm thinking insect bite, laundry detergent, food, etc? I'm thinking that a conversation with your dermatologist is a good idea. Perhaps they could provide you with recommendations to prevent this from happening to you again? It's scary to have something unusual happening to you. This episode could be a trigger of some sort. I hope you get some answers and feel better soon.🤗🤗
