Members discussed whether COVID-19 or its vaccines may have triggered or worsened their prurigo nodularis, with many sharing personal timelines linking their flare-ups to vaccinations or COVID infections. Several members described their immune systems becoming overactive rather than weakened, and shared treatments like Nemluvio, Dupixent, and UV light therapy at specialized centers like Stanford that have brought significant relief. A recurring theme was the comfort found in connecting with others who share similar experiences, along with hope that answers and better treatments will continue to emerge.

COVID may have something to do with the lumps and lesions but I disagree that it is down to reducing our immune system if anything it has caused our immune system to be heightened as it is attacking our own bodies when I had a blood test my white blood cells were extremely high
