I’ve been using it for approx 9 months and have had good results until August.

I was looking for an ointment for my scalp and came across something called Emuaid. I found it in a local drugstore and picked it up this afternoon. I tried it and so far so good. I still feel tingling on my scalp but the itch and pain have subsided considerably. Has anyone else have success with this product?

That's a really important question, and it's understandable to feel concerned after experiencing such good results for months. Nine months of progress is meaningful, and a change in August doesn't necessarily mean Dupixent has stopped working for good.

That's a really important question, and it's understandable to feel concerned after experiencing such good results for months. Nine months of progress is meaningful, and a change in August doesn't necessarily mean Dupixent has stopped working for good.

Here's what's currently known about Dupixent and long-term effectiveness for prurigo nodularis:

- Researchers still don't fully know how long Dupixent's results last over time
- Longer-term studies are still ongoing to answer exactly this question
- Some people may need consistent use for several months before reaching maximum benefit
- Results can vary from person to person A dip in effectiveness could be related to several factors, including stress, which is a known trigger for PN symptoms. It's worth having an honest conversation with your dermatologist about what changed in August — whether that's lifestyle, stress levels, or something else entirely.

The most important next step is to bring this up with your doctor before making any changes to your treatment. They may adjust your dosage, timing, or suggest combining Dupixent with another approach to get things back on track. Don't give up hope just yet! 💙
